ONE Limerick pupil recently traded the classrooms of Croom for the European Parliament buildings, after winning a trip to the home of EU politics in Strasbourg.
Coláiste Chiaráin student Isabelle Regan made the trip after winning a Graduate.ie trip for herself and teacher Maeve O’Sullivan.
Isabelle was one of a 24-strong delegate of Irish secondary students to visit the EU parliament, to learn more about the inner workings of democracy at a European level and engage with students from other countries about issues relating to the European Union and beyond.
School principal Gerard O’Sullivan said all at Coláiste Chiaráin were “incredibly proud” of Isabelle on making the trip.
