Limerick schools encouraged to register for Law Society TY programme

SCHOOLS in Limerick are invited to register for the Law Society’s Legal Ambitions Transition Year programme, offering aspiring legal eagles a chance to explore legal careers.

In 2024, 154 Limerick students participated in the four-week online course covering topics like criminal law, human rights, and climate justice.

The programme fits into school schedules with content that has inspired past students to pursue a career in solicitation.

President of the Law Society Eamon Harrington added that student’s also have access to initiatives “including Solicitors of the Future, Street Law, and the Gráinne O’Neill National Legal Essay Competition”.

Registration is open until January 17.
