Southill Jobs Fair opens opportunities this week

The jobs fair will take place at the Southill Hub.

THE FINAL Jobs Fair for 2024 in Limerick’s regeneration areas will take place this Thursday, November 21 at the Southill Hub from 6pm to 8pm.

Educational bodies and agencies will be on hand let people know what opportunities are available. The event will feature over 20 businesses from the Mid West region, setting out a broad selection of stalls.

This is the concluding event of 2024, following successful Jobs Fairs in Moyross, Ballinacurra Weston, and St. Mary’s Park earlier this year.

Organised by Limerick City and County Council in collaboration with Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board, Technological University of the Shannon (TUS), and Limerick Enterprise Development Partnership (LEDP), the Jobs Fair forms part of the Outreach to Employment Programme, now in its third year since launching in 2022.

Mayor John Moran highlighted the event’s impact, saying the event “represents another great networking opportunity for many. Southill has a fantastic community, and the diversity of this event shows that every path to education and employment is unique.”
