THE Technological University of the Shannon (TUS) recently welcomed 450 new international students to its Limerick campuses.
The school’s new international contingent hail from over 40 different countries across the globe – including Southeast Asia, Africa, North and South America, and Europe – all coming to get their education in the Treaty City.
The students were greeted by Mayor John Moran, along with TUS and Council representatives, who explained all the city has to offer.
Eoin Kiveney, TUS global student experience officer for the Mid West, said the university’s “aim is to create a community where every student feels they belong. We are excited to see these students grow and succeed, adding their unique voices to our ever-expanding TUS Global family.”
