14 YOUNG people from Limerick were among over 400 aged 12 to 17 to take part in the 2025 Comhairle na nÓg National Showcase.

Making the visit to Dublin Castle, the Limerick aspiring change-makers of tomorrow joined Taoiseach Michael Martin and Minister for Children Norma Foley for discussions on the issues that matter most to them.

Hosted by the Department of Children and Youth, the showcase provided a platform for the 31 Comhairle na nÓg groups to connect directly with decision-makers on policies that impact their lives.

Taoiseach Micheál Martin praised the attending teenagers, saying that it is of “utmost importance that we consider their inputs, and keep their futures in mind, in all of our government’s work”.
