
TWO outstanding Limerick entrepreneurs have been shortlisted in the Start-Up of the Year category at the 2025 PwC IMAGE Businesswoman of the Year Awards 2025.
Dr Leonie Lynch, founder of Juspy and Alice Carroll, co-founder of Foxes Bow Whiskey, will be hoping to take home the gold for the Treaty at the awards ceremony, to be held at the Clayton Hotel in Dublin on April 25.
The annual awards celebrate Ireland’s most inspiring female business leaders, recognising their innovation, leadership, and impact across various industries.
Dr Leonie Lynch is the founder of Juspy, a collagen and protein superfood blend. With a background in marketing, wellness, and entrepreneurship, Leonie created Juspy to offer a functional, nutritional option that stands out in the ever-growing Irish wellness space.
Alice Carroll is the co-founder of Foxes Bow Whiskey, an independent local Irish whiskey brand based in Limerick.
With nearly a decade of experience working with global whiskey brands, Alice launched Foxes Bow in 2021 with a vision to make whiskey more accessible and inclusive. Since then, Foxes Bow has gained national and international recognition.
A spokesperson for the awards said that the “nomination of both Dr Leonie Lynch and Alice Carroll highlights the strength of Limerick’s startup ecosystem, showcasing how local entrepreneurs are making a national and international impact”.
The PwC IMAGE Businesswoman of the Year Awards is one of the country’s top events for female entrepreneurs, offering a night of networking, entertainment, and celebration.
Winners will be announced at the black-tie event at the Clayton Hotel in Dublin on April 25.
