THERE were a couple of solid local performers in the 129th edition of the famed Boston Marathon, won by Limerick’s Neil Cusack way back in 1974.
The time of John Kinsella (2:36:35) of Southill placed him a brilliant second in the Over-45 grade.
Another to clock a good time was Joe Laffan, an underage hurling and football coach with Na Piarsaigh.
