PETER O’Riordan has been named among the winners in the 2025 Thoroughbred Industry Employee Awards.
He is Yearling Manager at Croom House Stud, a successful operation which is led by Cathal Brosnan, along with his parents Denis and Joan, and General Manager Joe Hartigan.
Like the other recipients, O’Riordan is to receive a specially commissioned trophy by sculptor Ani Mollereau and €4,000.
In addition, €2,500 will be awarded to all employers of the winners to be used for the benefit of all staff members.
Now in its ninth year of Godolphin’s sponsorship, the awards recognise and reward the exceptional skills, experience and dedication of those working in the thoroughbred breeding and racing industry in Ireland.
The awards ceremony will take place in the Keadeen Hotel in Newbridge, County Kildare in early June.
