THE Council were asked for an update around works on Ray’s Estate in Mountcollins, to include road resurfacing, water, and lighting.
In response to councillor Liam Galvin’s question at April’s full local authority meeting, the Fine Gael man was informed that a contractor has been appointed.
The contractor will install the 150m of watermain to the estate along with the installation of a new fire hydrant and new connections to each property within the estate.
Cllr Galvin was also told that the Council are awaiting a start date from the contractor to commence on site.
