A MAN who was arrested by Gardaí in Limerick in connection with ongoing investigations into an organised crime group (OCG) has been charged in relation to a number of burglaries and other offences.

That’s according to a statement from An Garda Síochána, who said that the man, aged in his 30s, appeared before a special sitting of Ennis District Court this past Sunday evening (April 13).

He was remanded in custody to appear before the courts again this Wednesday.

Gardaí said he is the second person to appear before the courts in connection with investigations into an organised crime group “suspected of being involved in business and residential burglaries as well as the theft of high value vehicles”.
