THE UNIVERSITY of Limerick today hosted a conference focusing on the future of education in the workplace.
Kicking off this Thursday morning (April 10), the one-day conference, Transforming Higher Education, brought together industry leaders, academics, and policymakers to discuss the future of workplace-based education.
The theme of the conference was ‘Graduates must not only be job-ready, but future-ready’.
Talks at the conference included the impact of UL’s ‘UL@Work initiative, and explored best practices for aligning higher education with ever-evolving demands of the workforce.
A UL spokesman said that “with a focus on innovation, adaptability, and lifelong learning, the conference will be a key platform for shaping the future of education and workforce readiness”.
