
AGRICULTURAL shows in Limerick are set to receive a welcome boost for the government, just as the show and fair season opens.
Thatโs according to Limerick TD and Tourism and Culture Minister Patrick OโDonovan, who welcomed funding for both the Newcastle West Agri Show and the Limerick Show Society, who will receive a combined โฌ18,345 from a โฌ1million funding round for agricultural shows announced by Minister Jerry Buttimer.
The Newcastle West Agri Show, taking place on June 22, will receive โฌ8,350, while the Limerick Show Society, which kicks off on on August 24, will receive โฌ9,995.
