Pothole patcher working well in Adare Rathkeale district

Councillor John O'Donoghue.

INDEPENDENT councillor John Oโ€™Donoghue wanted an update on the status of the Adare Rathkeale districtโ€™s road velocity patcher at the March monthly area meeting.

Cllr Oโ€™Donoghue was particularly interested in the number of days the patcher was being repaired in 2024 and the costs involved.

He was informed that the velocity patcher operated for 210 days last year.

This, as it turned out, compared favourably with the other rural districts –ย  including Cappamore Kilmallock (202 days) and Newcastle West (222 days).
