LIMERICK IN PHOTOS: Limerick makes clean sweep at Tidy Towns competition

LIMERICK groups who aim to keep the county neat and tidy made a clean sweep at the Tidy Towns South West and Mid West Regional Awards.

Prizes were presented by Minister Jerry Buttimer to Tidy Towns groups from Adare, Castleconnell, Limerick City, and Galbally.

The Gold Medal County award went to Adare Tidy Towns. There was a double win for Castleconnell Tidy Towns, who took the Silver Medal and Waters and Communities Highly Commended awards.

The Limerick City group took home the Silver Medal in the County Limerick County Awards and Medals category, while a Highly Commended award in the same category went to Galbally Tidy Towns.
