THE people of Limerick are invited to take ‘A Walk in the Park for Parkinson’s’.
Kicking off on Saturday April 5, Parkinson’s Ireland is hosting its annual Walk in the Park for Parkinson’s in tandem with Parkinson’s Awareness Month.
This year’s walk is taking place in 15 locations across Ireland, including The People’s Park in Limerick City.
Parkinson’s is an incurable progressive neurological disorder that affects an estimated 18,000 people in Ireland.

Registration and more information on the walk is available on parkinsons.ie. Participants will receive a t-shirt and take part in social events across the day.
