BORD na Móna has called on schools across to country to turn what was once old into something new and exciting again.

Bord na Móna Recycling launched its Primary Schools Upcycling Competition, aiming to raise awareness around upcycling and environmental education with over €5,000 in prizes to be won by participating schools.

The inaugural competition was won by Gaelscoil Chaladh an Treoigh in Limerick for their work in protecting their school environment from the impacts of playground activities.
