A NEW permanent exhibition is set to open at University Maternity Hospital Limerick.
‘Handled with Care’ focuses on building community through art, and sees more than 100 artists from across the Mid West come together to collaborate on the themes of family, support, and shared experiences.
The idea was brought into life by Italian artist Giulia Coli, now an active member of Limerick’s art community and living in Patrickswell, after she gave birth to her daughter Maeve and felt a deep need for connection with other parents, a spokeswoman for the hospital said.
The exhibition will be open to visitors to the hospital’s shop after March 25.
