Knockdown run to return this weekend

The Knockdown run will return this year.

ALL Roads will once again lead to Knockdown, Athea, later this week when the Knockdown Vintage Club’s annual charity road run returns to rip through town.

The popular local run will return on Sunday March 30, welcoming vintage cars, tractors, trucks, and bikes of all varieties.

The beneficiaries of this year’s charity run will be Cystic Fibrosis Ireland and Little Blue Heroes.

A raffle will also be held after the runs have passed through Knockdown, with prizes including vouchers for Brehon Hotel and Adams of Glin, as well as a monster hamper from Moran Painting, Decorating, and Maintenance.
