TEAM Limerick Clean-Up (TLC) is urging volunteers across Limerick City and County to get involved in its 10-year celebration this Good Friday, April 18. ย
Volunteers, businesses, schools, and sports clubsย are being encouraged to do their bit to keep Limerick clean and tidy. Sponsored by the JP McManus Benevolent Fund and supported by Limerick City and County Council, TLC last year saw 57 tonnes of litter collected, which is equivalent to approx. 2300 household wheelie bins of rubbish.
TLC co-founders JP McManus, Helen OโDonnell, and Paul OโConnell said: โWe are so excited to be approaching a decade of Team Limerick Clean-Up. TLC is a great day for people across Limerick to get out, meet their neighbours, and make new connections in their communities. The popularity of TLC has soared over the last ten years, and we are hoping for our biggest number of volunteers to date for our 10-year celebration. We canโt wait to see some new and old faces get involved in TLC10.โ
โLet’s give Limerick a bit of TLC this Good Friday.โ
