A BUSINESS owner has gone the extra mile (or 13.1 miles to be exact) in helping out in her community.
Salon owner Colette Cregan, of the CC Beauty Room in Adare, made a donation of €1,525 to the local Alzheimer Society of Ireland day centre in the Limerick village following a trying half marathon fundraising push.
College said she took on the mammoth task because she “wanted to give back to the village or being so nice to me”.
The Adare business owner she she had never run before so the task was “huge” for her as her first fundraising run.
