MARCH is the month when employees thinking of making a change, jobseekers looking to build a career, and employers seeking new recruits can meet each other in Shannon.
Shannon Chamber, in collaboration with the Department of Social Protection and the Local Authority Integration Team, is hosting its annual jobs fair in Shannon as part of the department’s annual Work and Skills Campaign on March 26.
The event will provide a platform for local employers to connect with prospective employees by showcasing the employment opportunities available within their companies.
It will offer jobseekers an opportunity to explore career possibilities and enable businesses to engage with talented individuals in the region.
Employers who have vacancies can send a list to Shannon Chamber and join the jobs fair to meet and recruit potential candidates.
Shannon Chamber said the fair offers employers a chance to tap into a pool of skilled, motivated professionals looking to take the next step in their careers.
Jobseekers will get to explore exciting career opportunities and meet local employers face-to-face.
Employers with available vacancies are invited to send a list of open positions to Shannon Chamber on [email protected] and have a representative on-site to speak with prospective candidates.
Employers are invited to register the vacant positions on jobsireland.ie before March 26.
EURES officer Cathy Moran will host an online lunch briefing for employers attending the jobs fair to brief them on the work of the European employment services and the benefits of using its portal for recruitment.
The event takes place at Building 7000, Westpark Innovation Campus on March 26. For more information or to register, contact [email protected].
