Eve Stafford sings Danny Boy

Eve Stafford.

Limerick-based soprano Eve Stafford is set to release her latest single, Danny Boy, this Friday March 14 . The third single from her highly anticipated debut album, this heartfelt rendition of the beloved Irish ballad is dedicated to her Health & Harmony friends.

It reflects her deep connection with the residents and care users she regularly performs for in nursing homes and dementia day care centres through the National Concert Hall’s outreach programme, Health & Harmony.

Featuring the accompaniment of pianist and accordionist Denis Carey and violinist Anna Jane Ryan, this nostalgic and moving version of Danny Boy captures the song’s timeless beauty.

The track is also a tribute to Eve’s early days as an entertainer at Bunratty Castle, where she honed her craft in Irish music and performance. You can stream and support Eve Stafford on Spotify and iTunes. More live shows will be announced shortly.

Dr. Norah Patten was the keynote speaker at the event with over 400 attendees.

Eve reported, “It was a very empowering event. I was invited by national President, Amy O’Sullivan to perform.”
