JOHN Kinsella has been selected on the Irish team to compete at the Inter-Celtic Mountain Running Championships in Brittany, France, in June.
At the weekend, the Southill athlete easily qualified through victory in a Selection Race in Clonmel.
Kinsella is the only person in the world over 40 to have completed all six World Marathon Majors in under a hugely impressive 2 hours 30 minutes.
Along with New York in December, the other legs of the infamous six were Tokyo, Boston, London, Berlin, and Chicago.

Kinsella’s achievement is all the more remarkable given that the Southill athlete only took up the sport inside the last ten years.
