A MORE reliable water supply is on the way for residents of Ballycarrane in Patrickswell, County Limerick.
That’s according to Uisce Éireann, who has said that teams will touch down in Ballycarre this week to replace over 1.9 kilometres of aged water mains, which are prone to bursts.
Uisce Éireann said that the works “will provide a more secure and reliable water supply for the residents of Ballycarrane and surrounding areas and will significantly reduce high levels of leakage on the network”.
The section of works are to take place along the L-1425 Newboro, Ballycarrane, Patrickswell and L-1427 Ballycarrane, Patrickswell. Road closures will be in effect over the duration of the works until April 18.
