New season dawns for Treaty women’s team

TREATY United open their Women’s Premier Division with a visit from Waterford FC to the Markets Field this afternoon (3pm).

Ahead of the fixture (1.30pm), the club will host ‘Looking Ahead,’ a special event to mark International Women’s Day.

An insightful discussion is promised with club executives and former internationals Ciara McCormack and Marie O’Meara.

Attendees will enjoy refreshments and free match tickets.

New signing Madelyn Robbins has been in electric form, scoring three times across pre-season. She was joined on the scoresheet by Cara Grin and captain Jillian O’Toole in the recent Cork win.

Several other key players have committed or joined for the season, Katie Lawlee, Grace McInerney, Grace Gleeson, Katie Irwin, Kate O’Donovan, Anna Rockett, Mara McCleary, Ayaka Ikeza, Bella Flocchini, Anna Dignam, Clodagh Daly, Amy Tierney, Liisa Tumoi, Madeleine McKenzie, and Laura O’Neill.
