Fianna Fáil councillor Catherine Slattery.

FIANNA Fáil councillor Catherine Slattery quizzed the Council on the state-of-the-art sports facility on the St Enda’s Complex.

Cllr Slattery asked at February’s Metropolitan District meeting when works will start.

The City East representative also wanted to know if community groups will be permitted to use the facility.

Submissions from design teams are currently being assessed with a view to an appointment of a team to progress the Sports and Educational Campus at Kilmallock Road.
