Alabama 3 celebrate two iconic albums

Alabama 3

CULT legends Alabama 3 are hitting the road this spring, celebrating their seminal albums Exile on Coldharbour Lane and La Peste with an extensive UK and Ireland tour.

The band blend blues, acid house, and rock take fans on a nostalgic journey through their early years, revisiting the albums that defined their sound.

Alabama 3 will perform at Dolan’s this Sunday, March 9, as part of a tour that kicks off in Belfast. Fans can expect a setlist packed with tracks from their first two records alongside their greatest hits.

The tour marks the 25th anniversary of Woke Up This Morning, the track that became a pop culture phenomenon as the theme song for The Sopranos.

Frontman Larry Love reflected on the tour’s significance:

“Our Exile on Coldharbour Lane tour plans were rudely and aptly interrupted by La Peste (The Plague) itself – aka COVID.

“We are giving the brothers and sisters space to congregate and celebrate both albums, especially now that Devlin Love is back to make them even more of an event.”

Beyond The Sopranos, La Peste cemented Alabama 3’s influence in film and TV. Tracks like Too Sick To Pray featured in Gone In Sixty Seconds and Being Human, while Mansion on the Hill appeared in 3000 Miles to Graceland.
