
A WINNING Lotto ticket worth €2.7million was sold in County Limerick for this past Saturday night’s lotto jackpot (March 1), bringing the total prize money won in Lotto jackpots so far this year to over €12.5million.
The winning Quick Pick ticket, purchased in a store in the county last Wednesday (February 26), includes the winning numbers in the main Lotto draw: 2, 6, 7, 10, 28, 32 along with the bonus number 19.
The National Lottery said the store location where the winning Lotto Jackpot ticket was purchased will be announced on Tuesday (March 4).
Darragh O’Dwyer, National Lottery spokesperson, said: “It’s been a phenomenal start to the year with multiple jackpot wins already. To have four winners in just two months is remarkable, and we’re delighted for our latest jackpot winner who has just become Ireland’s newest millionaire. It’s an exciting time for players, and we look forward to seeing where the next big win might land.”
