THE disappearance of the entrance stone to Baggot Estate, which was erected back in 2014, was the cause of some mystery in City Hall.
Fianna Fáil councillor Fergus Kilcoyne, on behalf of the residents of Ballinacurra Gardens, called for it to be reinstated immediately.
The plot thickened when the Council revealed that it has investigated the missing stone plaque at Baggot Estate and advised that it had not been removed as part of any works undertaken by the local authority.
“The Council were not aware that the plaque had been removed,” said Senior Engineer Aidan Finn.
