MUNSTER suffered slippage in the URC League Table standings after a shock 28-34 loss to Edinburgh at Virgin Media Park, Cork.

Ian Costello’s are now just outside the cut for a home quarter-final draw.

On Leeside, a hat-trick of tries from Matt Currie set the visitors up for a famous victory.

It was Edinburg’s first victory on the road since last April.

Munster trailed 29-7 at half-time.

Alex Nankivell touched down in either half for Munster, who also finished strong to gather two bonus points through Ben O’Connor and replacement Seán O’Brien.
