THE smash hit showband show ‘Reeling In the Showband Years’ has been a huge nationwide hit for the past 14 years, and returns once again to UCH, Limerick for 15th year on Sunday March 16.
RTE’s Ronan Collins will host a spectacular evening celebrating the golden era of Showbands, featuring some of Ireland’s greatest musical talents.
Gina & The Champions – One of the biggest names of the Showband era, Gina and The Champions delivered hit after hit, including Minnie Minnie, Do You Wanna Do It, and Give Me Back My Love. They were consistently voted Ireland’s top pop band and still wow audiences today.
Ronan Collins, RTE’s “Mr. Music,” will perform tributes to Joe Dolan, the Eurovision, and Dickie Rock. A veteran of Irish showbiz, he remains a firm favourite with audiences.
Keith & Lorraine McDonald – A gifted brother-sister duo from a legendary musical family, they continue to shine on Keith & Lorraine’s Music Hour on Spotlight TV.
Shaun O’Dowd, Dave Lawlor, and The Conquerors Showband will also take the stage, leading to a grand finale where all artists unite for a nostalgic tribute to the Showband years.
