LIMERICK IT Summit is a new community-based business conference for SMEs who are starting or developing their digital capabilities. The theme of the event is ‘Your Digitalisation Toolkit’.

The event is taking place on March 6 at Dell Technologies Campus in Limerick and is the brainchild of Christopher Heaney of WebDev Builders in conjunction with DSM, under the leadership of CEO Andrew Clohessy.

Over 20 other IT providers and businesses have become involved in organising the inaugural Limerick IT Summit over the past two months. Speakers such as Michelle Gallagher, CEO of Limerick Chamber, John Moran, Mayor of Limerick, Tom King, An Gobha, Blacksmith of The Boyne, Samantha Kelly, The Tweeting Goddess, and many more will attend in 2025.

“The Limerick IT Summit was born out of a vision to bridge the gap between Limerick’s thriving tech talent and the local SME business community,” a representative of the vent said.

“With the Technological University of the Shannon and the University of Limerick producing world-class graduates and driving tech innovation, our region is a powerhouse of digital potential. Yet, there was no single annual event to showcase the incredible tech expertise available locally and to help SMEs navigate their digital transformation journeys.
