INDEPENDENT councillor Jerome Scanlan asked the Council for an update on car parking arrangements to complement the Limerick Greenway facilities at Newcastle West.
He was informed that it is proposed to go to tender this month for the car park at the Greenway trailhead at Station Road.
He was also told at the recent Newcastle West area meeting that it it proposed that the contract will go to construction in Q3 2025.
