GALBALLY emerged as winners of the Intermediate Cup at the Lidl Comórtas Peile Páidí Ó Sé 2025 Tournament in Dingle at the weekend.
With Ger Quinlan in sparkling form, last year’s Junior kingpins defeated Bracknagh (Offaly) in the semi-final and Killanerin (Wexford) in the final.
On the Junior front, St Patrick’s were beaten at the semi-final stage by Athgarvan (Kildare).
The football festival has attracted over 30,000 club players since it was founded in 1989.
Comórtas Chairman, Pádraig Óg Ó Sé said: “Congrats to Galbally on their big victory and we welcome them back next year to defend their title. Hard luck too to St Patrick’s.”
He added: “Both teams played in good spirits and conducted themselves well over the weekend.”
