LIMERICK Gardaí are questioning a man on suspicion of driving under the influence of an intoxicant following a road traffic collision involving two cars last night (Monday).
A Garda spokeswoman said this Tuesday morning that Gardaí were “alerted to a road traffic collision that occurred in the Upper William Street area, Limerick City, on Monday”.
“The incident involved two vehicles and occurred at approximately 9pm. No injuries have been reported at this time,” she said.
The spokeswoman said Gardaí arrested a man in his 60s on suspicion of “driving under the influence of an intoxicant”.
“The investigation is ongoing.”
