Limerick advance in Oscar Traynor

The Limerick Starting XI which beat Kilkenny in the Oscar Traynor Trophy at the weekend.

LIMERICK booked their place in the last four of the Oscar Traynor Trophy with a 2-1 (AET) win over Kilkenny at a wind-swept Dooradoyle.

Vinny Ryan netted for John Lysaght’s side in normal time and a good score from Adam Lipper avoided a penalty shoot-out.

Limerick are away to Mayo in the semi-final.

In their quarter-final, Desmond League lost at Wexford, who now progress to meet Waterford in the last four.
