THERE are 26,419 people now employed by Enterprise Ireland client companies in the Mid West region.
That’s according to Enterprise Ireland just published 2024 results, with total employment at client companies increasing to a record 234,454 in 2024.
64 per cent of new jobs created by Enterprise Ireland clients were regionally based and 1,137 new jobs were created in the Mid West region in the last year.
Enterprise Ireland Irish medtech client company Aerogen recently announced details of a €300million transformational scaling and investment plan, which will result in the creation of 725 new jobs in Ireland over the next 10 years.
