Fundraising a family affair for Headway Harriers

The Headway Harriers have raised almost €9,000 for the Headway service.

FUNDRAISING is very much a family affair for one Limerick family, who are hoping to shine a light on Headway Ireland in this year’s Great Limerick Run.

The Headway Harriers, comprised of father Mick Shine, his son Alan, Shane Ryan, and family friend Barry Hartnett are hard in training for this year’s run, raising funds for Headway Ireland.

Headway provides a lifeline for survivors of stroke, falls, or accidents and those with acquired brain injuries through rehabilation and support services as they work to integrate back into independent living. The generous Headway Harriers have already to date raised close to €9,000 for the service.
