HUNDREDS turned out on Shannonside last weekend for the Milford 10K Run Walk at the University of Limerick.
Participants took off in the name of Milford Care Centre, raising welcome funds for the local hospice and palliative care centre.
Winners in the women’s category were Maria Maher (41:33), Catherine Fogarty of Dundrum AC (42:17), and Aileen Ryan (43:25).
The men’s category podium was taken by Emmet McNamara(32:24), John Whittaker of Dooneen AC (35:36), and Limerick AC’s Conor Reale (36:13).
