DEVELOPMENT Perspectives invites passionate adult and community educators across Ireland to join the 2025 SDG Advocate Training — a transformative seven-month program empowering educators to drive local action on the UN sustainable development goals (SDGs).
Through hands-on learning, collaboration, and mentorship, participants will deepen their SDG knowledge, develop real-world action projects, and build a network of advocates committed to sustainability.
And why join the cause? Participants will gain in-depth SDG insights, connect with like-minded changemakers, receive mentorship for impactful projects, and inspire their community toward sustainable action.
“Educators are at the heart of change. By equipping them with the tools and resources to promote sustainability, we are fostering a culture of responsible active citizenship. Participants will not only gain new skills, but also inspire and empower their communities to take action,” said Margaret Downey, project coordinator at Development Perspectives.
Those interested in joining can apply before March 10, 2025, and help be a catalyst for change.
Application can be made on https://developmentperspectives.ie/what-we-do/projects/advocate/
