Limerick.ie leads the way with two million visitors last year

The Council-run website attracted visitors from more than 200 countries last year.

MORE than two million visitors from more than 200 countries came to Limerick in 2024, albeit virtually, attracted by the Limerick.ie website.

And the official digital platform for breakdown of annual figures also shows that Limerick.ie website pages were viewed 4.9 million times.

In 2024, Limerick City and County Council (LCCC) promoted 2,800 Limerick events on Limerick.ie. A further 2,700 other listings for amenities, including attractions, businesses, and community groups are also supported on the platform.

Limerick.ie is designed to provide easy access to essential information and services. Residents can find details about local amenities, events, and council services and platform supports local businesses by offering a space to promote their services and events, helping to boost the local economy.

For visitors, Limerick.ie offers a wealth of information on attractions, accommodations, and activities, enhancing their experience and encouraging tourism.
