Three legends of the stage to be honoured at Limerick’s tribute to the three Johnnys,

LIMERICK will celebrate the remarkable musical legacies of three of its most cherished artists – Johnny Duhan, Johnny Fean, and Jon Kenny – with a special tribute night at the Lime Tree Theatre on Tuesday, May 20. Beginning at 8pm the night will bring together some of our finest musicians in a heartfelt homage to these late, much revered performers.

The night will be produced by Cha Haran, with Dave Keary serving as Musical Director. Renowned RTE presenter Micky Mac will guide audiences through an evening filled with nostalgia and outstanding performances.

Among those set to take the stage are Bill Whelan, Derek O’Sullivan, Ray and Donal Fean, David Hockedy, Jim Hanley, Joey Dalton, Liam Darcy, Brian O’Connor, John Ryan, Stoney Wall, and Blues Train. Additional performers are expected to be added to the bill.

Tickets for this one-of-a-kind event are priced at €27 and can be booked through www.limetreebelltable.ie. Given the lineup and the significance of the tribute, a full house is expected.

More than just a musical celebration, this night will also serve as a fundraiser, with all proceeds going to the nominated charities of the Duhan, Fean, and Kenny families. These are The RNU, Guide Dogs for the Blind, and The Mid-West Simon Community, ensuring that the legacies of these musicians continue to make a difference in people’s lives.
