CLODAGH Ryan of AXA Insurance Limerick paid a recent visit to ASD Ireland’s Limerick base to present a cheque to the organisations co-founder, Keith Enright, for €2,500 under the AXA Local Community Award winners.
ASD Ireland was founded by two Limerick parents, Keith Enright and Caroline Hogan, who both have teenagers with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
The organisation began with the development of Limerick Autism Group and progressed to providing a number of inclusive activities.
ASD Ireland provides autism camps, movement groups, psychotherapy counselling, gaming groups and camps, parking permits, ID cards, training and education, an employment program with Lidl Ireland, community outreach programs, adult outreach program, and works closely with local businesses to support them to become autism/sensory friendly.
