The search is on for Ireland’s next top young artist

THE race is on to find Ireland’s top young artist.

The 2025 Texaco Children’s Art Competition has just been launched, and the search has begun to find the top young creative talents across the county.

Limerick has performed very strongly in recent years, with five local artists taking top prizes in the annual competition last year, including David Mac Aodha, Caleb Morris, Eva Liang, Zihan Yan, and Jillian Arriana Atienza.

Now in its 71st year, the competition is open for entries until February 28. More information is available on texacochildrensart.com.
