CITY West councillor Fergus Kilcoyne wants to know if Limerick City and County Council intends to install traffic calming measures at the entrance to the new housing development at An Tobar in Patrickswell.
The Fianna Fรกil councillor also inquired if any consideration is being given to reducing the speed limit at the same location from the current 50km/h down to 30.
The City West representative was informed that the Council will undertake a traffic calming assessment on the L1401 road at the entrance to the new housing development to determine if traffic calming measures are justified.
