FINE Gael councillor Tom Ruddle has called on Limerick City and County Council to clean up the Oakpark estate in Newcastle West.
Speaking at a meeting for the district, Cllr Ruddle told Council members that trees need to be surveyed as some may require removal and the grass cut as it is leading to dumping and encouraging vermin.
In response, the Council said it will arrange an inspection and undertake a survey of the trees.
The Council also promised to arrange for any necessary tree and grass maintenance in the area.
