CORK will be without Declan Dalton for the visit of Limerick to Páirc Uí Chaoimh for Saturday night’s glamour National Hurling League tie.

Dalton and home captain Rory O’Conner were red-carded in Cork’s runaway win at Wexford (Limerick had a bye).

By his departure midway through the closing-half, Dalton had scored a hugely impressive 1-5.

Next weekend’s fixture is likely to attract an attendance well north of 20,000 to Leeside.

It’s the first meeting of the pair since Cork squeezed-out Limerick following an electrifying All-Ireland Senior Championship semi-final last Summer.
