LIMERICK musician, composer, and singer-songwriter Seán O’Meara is set to release his debut 12 track album in the coming months.
Seán has built an impressive career spanning multiple genres, including rock, classical, and traditional Irish music. Touring since age 16, Seán has performed in over 20 countries, gracing concert halls, festivals, and historic venues. His collaborations/guest slots include notable artists like Bob Geldof, Sting, Cory Wong, Gavin James, Hermitage Green, The High Kings, Martin Hayes and Denise Chaila.
Winner of the All-Ireland Fleadh in 2012, Seán has appeared on major TV networks (BBC Alba, PBS, RTÉ) and radio shows worldwide, amassing millions of streams on YouTube and Spotify.
Seán also plays guitar with the olllam, the Grammy-nominated instrumental group acclaimed as RTÉ’s Best Folk Group. The olllam play Dolans on Wednesday February 12. Expect to be hearing a lot more from Sean in the coming months. Follow on @sean__omeara on Instagram and YouTube
