LIMERICK City and County Council has been urged to fix the water dispensers in The People’s Park, which, according to Social Democrats councillor Elisa O’Donovan, have been out of action for many months.
The City West representative was told that the local authority have a contract set up to complete maintenance or repair works where necessary to the public drinking water fountains that were previously installed throughout the city and county by the Environmental Department.
“Any necessary repairs of the drinking fountains in the city centre area are due to take place in the near future,” Cllr O’Donovan was informed.
