A HIGHLY-PRAISED touring exhibition, focusing on Ireland’s language and colonial history, as well as expressions of the rural queer experience, is set to touch down in Limerick.
Culchie boy, I love you / Grá mo chroí thú, mo chábóigín féin by Kian Benson Bailes is a multidisciplinary exhibition featuring sculpture, digital and material collage, musical instruments, ceramics, textiles, woodwork, and live sculptural sound elements.
It will be on show at the Limerick City Gallery of Art from January 23 to March 30.
The show features themes of “Irish folklore, mythology, and craft traditions in an exuberant expression of rural queer experience”.
